STALLION CONTRACT FOR TRANSPORTED SEMEN DELIVERY

 

 

 

I hereby confirm my reservation to the stallion NEVER BEND BETTER for the year ______.  I understand and accept the following terms:  A veterinary certificate and current uterine culture (taken when the mare is in heat) showing the mare to be in sound breeding condition and free of infection is a condition of the service.  All fees, charges and transportation costs due Chenco Farm must be paid before the delivery of the semen.  A stud fee of 750.00 is also due before the delivery.  I understand that my marešs breeding passport must be signed, notarized and returned to Chenco Farm after the Veterinary check performed by 50 days after last day bred or all guarantees are null and void.

 

For FROZEN SEMEN there is a $375.00 charge for packing and shipping the semen from the facility where it is stored.  This includes all handling costs and postage to receive and return the container.  Each shipment will have 2 inseminations in it. If  you need more semen there is a $375.00 charge each time it is shipped.   Because we collect for freezing in the off season the frozen semen can be shipped at any time.  You must find an appropriate container for storage when you receive the semen. The frozen semen is stored in liquid nitrogen.

 

This contract guarantees free return privileges for the same mare if the mare is examined by a licensed veterinarian and found to be barren at 50 days from date of the last service.  If  for any reason the mare is determined to be unable to conceive the mare owner shall be able to substitute another mare.

 

Should the mare not produce a live foal that stands and sucks, the mare owner shall be entitled to a return breeding.  This guarantee shall apply only if Chenco Farm is notified within 48 hours of the foalšs death.  A statement of details by a licensed veterinarian must follow within 10 days or the guarantee becomes null and void.  This clause is also binding in case of early fetal abortion.

 

I understand that I, as mare owner, shall assume all responsibility for the condition of the mare and shall bear all risk of loss or damage to the mare whether by death, disease, injury, infection or otherwise, and by any cause whatsoever, and therefore agree to hold Chenco Farm (or any person associated with Never Bend Better or Chenco Farm) harmless for any and all damages associated therewith.
